Today we are going to create a nice looking painting by using a orginal picture

*Save target As*
You could also use your own images but the result could look different.

1) After you opened up the image in photoshop.
Goto: Image - Adjustments - Hue/Saturation ( or just simply click CTRL+U)
And use the following settings

2) Now Duplicate the orginal layer on this duplicated layer we are going to apply
Filter - Artistics - Dry Brush
Use the following settings for the optimal result.

3) Now put the Opacity of the layer back down until 65%

4) Now once more duplicate the orginal layer and apply the following effect.
Filter - Sketch - Charcoal

5) Put the Opacity of this layer on 27%.

And now your done and you will have something looking like this
